What are UTMs?

Urchin Tracking Module (UTM) parameters are five variants of URL parameters used by marketers to track the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns across traffic sources and publishing media. They were introduced by Google Analytics’ predecessor Urchin and, consequently, are supported out-of-the-box by Google Analytics. The UTM parameters in a URL identify the campaign that refers traffic to a specific website, and attributes the browser’s website session and the sessions after that until the campaign attribution window expires to it. The parameters can be parsed by analytics tools and used to populate reports.

  • Yes! if your email list is hosted with ActiveCampaign, iContact, Mailchimp or Ontraport.

    Unfortunately, because of missing features or their integration limitations, this system does NOT work with AWeber, Constant Contact, Kit, Drip, Emma, Flodesk, GetResponse, Kajabi or Keap :(

  • The total duration of the video tutorials is under 20 minutes for each email service provider & there’s very little decisions for you to make.

    You can estimate about 60-90 minutes of work to have everything created + running the 1st time. As you create more landing pages or pop-ups in Leadpages, you should be able to integrate them in 15 minutes or less as some of the steps will already have been completed.

  • Absolutely! I’ll share my screen & we’ll do this together. I also provide links to help articles & very detailed SOP instructions. Finally, we can jump on a complimentary 15-minute video call together if you need even more personalized assistance for troubleshooting.

  • You’ll need a Leadpages Standard plan & a Zapier Starter plan.

    In addition, you’ll either need an ActiveCampaign Lite plan, iContact Advanced plan, Mailchimp Standard plan or Ontraport Pro plan.

  • Yes, absolutely! It’s the whole point – of saving your ads’ UTM parameters at the email level so that you can get a better ROI for your ad spend.
